Lauren's Artistic Eye

Lauren's preschool is awesome at creating, painting, and have done such a good job at keeping her interested in the world around her.  Right now we're growing a carrot, she calls it a "he."  She usually wakes up in the morning, "How's he doing?  Did you know that water is his steak?  We better feed him."  She brings home whatever she painted for the day, I just hang them on the fridge and go about the rest of my day. 

 Today I saw a sticky note on the back...

 I just cried.  Anyone who knows Lauren knows that she has a wonderful sense of humor and an awesome imagination, the combination is quite entertaining to say the least.  I love what she sees and how she interprets the world around her, for some reason this just absolutely moved me.  Sounds so stupid, but I love this little girl's heart.  I love how she thanks me every day for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.  I love that she tells me that I'm the best mom ever, I love that she constantly wants to give me hugs and kisses.  I don't know whether this statement was yet another of her random comments, or if she really was trying to paint me dancing on the grass in a storm, but I just love this girl.
