June Powell Trip

I think that one of the aspects of the lake that is getting more and more fun to watch, is the second generation Powell kids starting to "get it"  Connor and Lauren love watching lake powell movies and count down "how many more sleeps" there are left till they get to go on "Papa Joes Boat"  They end up having such a good time. 

 We parked the boat right by this rock that the kids swam back and forth from.

 Love this kids facial expressions.  He still doesn't talk a lot, but he has the funniest expressions.

 Apparently, he taught Cassie the same ones!

 Poor Kyson was getting a few teeth I'm guessing and was not his happy self.  He wasn't a bit pleased with life this trip.

 Sam was his same, good natured, fine with whatever self.

 The 4 and 5 year olds LOVED skiing this year, most of them did it last year too, but this year they really got the hang of it

 Lauren can fall asleep anywhere, anytime, and within a matter of seconds.  She will literally be talking to you one minute, asleep the next.  She fell asleep, I heard her stirring around downstairs and asked her if she wanted some dinner.  She said she did, then apparently fell back asleep when she made it to the top step.  So, I carried her back down and she slept a few more hours.

 Lilly was especially excited this trip to fish for a "whopper"  She especially enjoyed dumping the fish down the slide after we were done watching it swim in a bucket, it was the only incentive that worked to get Lauren detached from the ugly thing :)

 Between our 10 under 5 and Becki and Ryan's 2 (Jim's cousin) we had a crew of kids.

 Kids LOVED tubing.  Lilly took a bit of a spill on the tube and I"m not exactly sure she'll be going again anytime soon.  All in all, great time though!
